New Detective Games September 2014 - 9 Clues The Ward

New mystery hidden object game out last Wednesday, is 9 Clues 2: The Ward. The sequel to 9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek, from game developers Artifex Mundi. In this creepy hidden object puzzle game, set in the 1950’s help the young detective PI and her partner discover who the murderer is, in a secluded psychiatric hospital. With not too helpful patients or staff, you’ll have your work cut out for you.

But if, you are up to the challenge this is a really good – if slightly unsettling – murder mystery game to solve! With plenty of unique hidden object scenes and mini games to play.

My Review of 9 Clues: The Ward

  • This game has an interesting storyline – with plenty of suspense and a permanent sense of unease. Very creepy!
  • As well as a spooky atmosphere the location and characters add to the feel of the game.
  • Just keep in mind of course the theme and location – i.e. a psychiatric hospital, which some people may not feel comfortable with.
  • It has a good amount of hidden object games that are relevant and in-keeping with the adventure of the plot.
  • There is also a good variety of mini-games.
  • You’ll enjoy this mystery HOG if you like games with weird characters and unexpected plot twists!
