And you play detective PI Paul Prospero. Who has some unusual abilities, which come in handy in helping him solve the mystery of the disappearance of Ethan Carter.
Beautiful visuals, a simple story and interesting use of the supernatural to investigate the case. This is looking like it could one of the best detective PC games out this year.

Description: In The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, you play as Paul Prospero, an occult detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter and realizes that the boy is in grave danger. When Paul arrives in Ethan’s home of Red Creek Valley, he realizes things are even worse than he imagined. Ethan has vanished in the wake of a brutal murder, which Paul comes to see might not be the only murder to investigate. Using both regular and supernatural detective skills, Paul must figure out what happened to the missing boy. [Source: the Astronauts]
Use your supernatural skills to solve this new detective PC game!
What you will find when playing this game, is the unique use of Prospero’s occult skills to connect with the crime scene. Collecting evidence is just the first part to solving the case. You must help Prospero put the clues together in the right order.
And so using his supernatural skills to try re-enact each scene from the evidence. You have to work out the sequence of events in right order. And once you have cracked it, the whole scene is be replayed back to you. And as you do this for each episode, you will be able to see the story unfold and solve the murder mystery.
This is a non-linear game, you chose where you want to investigate. Discover and explore the locations as you wish. You don’t need to solve the puzzles in any particular order.
This is a very interesting and unique detective adventure game. Definitely one of the best adventure games out this year so far!
