Series Overview: Ashley Jensen (Catastrophe, Extras) “continues to play the titular amateur detective just right” (Independent, UK) in the cozy British mystery series based on the best-selling novels by M.C. Beaton. In these four feature-length mysteries, glamorous PR-executive-turned-sleuth Agatha Raisin opens her own private detective agency in the picturesque Cotswolds. Armed with her trademark tenacity and fashion flair, along with help from her friend Roy (Mathew Horne, Gavin & Stacey) and paramour James (Jamie Glover, Waterloo Road), Agatha uncovers the killers lurking in her sleepy village.

In search of new business, Agatha and James visit Ivy Hall, a house said to be haunted since the English Civil War.

2. Deadly Dance

Plot: A scathing article in the paper harms Agatha’s business, until Charles’s wealthy friend hires the agency to investigate death threats against her daughter.
After disaster strikes the daughter’s engagement party, Agatha enrolls in dance lessons to try to outmaneuver the culprit.

3. Love From Hell

Plot: Tensions between Agatha and James run high ahead of a smooth jazz night at Barfield Hall.
Then a woman James was seen arguing with turns up dead at Agatha’s cottage, and James disappears.
Working with James’s sister, can Agatha find her love and clear his name?

4. As The Pig Turns
First Aired: February 2020 | Run Time: 1h 36m.

Plot: To take her mind off her breakup with James, Agatha and the gang venture out to the Winter Fayre, where the highlight of the evening is the roast pig on a spit.
The event turns into a crime scene, however, when the main course turns out to be a tattooed human torso.
Newly promoted Bill is put in charge of the investigation, but he receives strict instructions not to discuss it with Agatha.
