Republic of Doyle Series 6 (UK)

In the final season, things are looking grim as Jake (Allan Hawco) faces murder charges, and Leslie recovers from the attack. But this PI family knows how to fight back.

Murder Maps Season 2 (US)

Presenting the most shocking and surprising murder cases from Britain’s last century, Series 2 of this drama-documentary series details a couple who were both adulterous and murderous, a serial killer at work during the London Blitz, a soldier returned from war who brought savagery back with him, and a nightmare of a man, who stashed his victims on his property in Notting Hill.

Conviction: The Case of Stephen Lawrence (US)

ITV crime drama based on the tragic murder of a black teenager in South-East London in 1993, which even today raises questions on many social issues in Britain. Including racism, policing, our legal system and what it means to be a person of colour in modern Britain. Thirteen years after their son’s murder by a racist gang, Stephen Lawrence’s parents still fight for justice, and DCI Driscoll (Steve Coogan) strives to solve the case.

Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) headlines this cinematic, fast-paced thriller. Detective Grace Gibbs is obsessed with catching the armed robber who killed her partner, while her new trainee (Yoson An, Mortal Engines) blames her for his best friend’s death. The Madame Blanc Mysteries Series 1 (UK Acorn 23/05/22)

Antiques dealer Jean White (Sally Lindsay, Mount Pleasant) is nearly bankrupt after her husband’s sudden death, and so she heads to their one last asset: a cottage in antiques hub Sainte Victoire, France. There, Jean begins investigating his death, aided by sympathetic taxi driver Dom (Steve Edge). She soon finds the colourful locals have a treasure trove of other mysteries for her to assess, too.
