Slow Horses – New Dark Comedy Drama on Apple TV+

The next season of Apple TV’s darkly comic espionage drama Slow Horses is releasing tomorrow. Based on the Slough House book series by Mick Herron. Starring Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies.

Season 2 airs December 2, 2022 with the first two episodes. Then the next episodes will be releasing on Fridays.

Slow Horses – Apple TV+ Crime Drama

Slow Horses series: This darkly funny espionage drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes. Season 1 (April 2022)

Season one: This quick-witted spy drama follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents – and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb – as they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces. S1 Episodes

1. Failure’s Contagious: River Cartwright is ousted from MI5 and finds himself in a place worse than purgatory: Slough House, dumping ground for failed spies.
2. Work Drinks: River and Sid join forces. A misfired gun has dire consequences.
3. Bad Tradecraft: Slough House is the unlikely venue for a secret romance, but events take a dark turn when a dangerous encounter becomes deadly.
4. Visiting Hours: Taverner sends the Dogs to hunt down Lamb and the Slow Horses. River holds the secret to saving the gang.
5. Fiasco: The Slow Horses must disappear to avoid capture by MI5. Lamb and River head to The Park to outwit Taverner.
6. Follies: Taverner and the Slow Horses attempt different approaches to locate the kidnappers and Hassan. Ho makes a shocking discovery about Sid.

Season 2 (December 2022)

Season two: In season two, long-buried Cold War secrets emerge which threaten to bring carnage to the streets of London. When a liaison with Russian villains takes a fatal turn, our hapless heroes must overcome their individual failings and raise their spy game in a race to prevent a catastrophic incident. S2 Episodes

1. Last Stop: Jackson Lamb is on high alert after a former spy is found dead. Min and Louisa are tempted by an offer from outside Slough House.
2. From Upshott with Love: Lamb liaises with a Russian defector who may hold a clue to sleeper agents. River is on the trail of a ruthless assassin.
3. Drinking Games: River gets cozy in the Cotswolds while searching for a sleeper agent. Min discovers Russian drinking games are the most brutal of all.
4. Cicada: Louisa makes her move on Pashkin. Catherine makes moves of a different kind when she plays high-stakes chess with a sinister stranger.
5. Boardroom Politics: Lamb orders his Slow Horses to walk into traps; River believes something alarming is heading toward London.
6. Old Scores: Season finale. Lamb and Katinsky go head-to-head. Ho finds himself trapped on a train with a Russian assassin.

Season 3 (November 2023)

S3 Episodes

1. Strange Games: A romantic relationship in Istanbul ends badly. Lamb hits the panic button when one of his Slow Horses fails to show up for work.
2. Hard Lessons: River has to steal something out of the Park to save a life. Lamb realizes a stranger game is afoot.
3. Negotiating With Tigers: Marcus and Shirley face Lamb’s wrath. River discovers revenge is a dish best served cold.
4. Uninvited Guests: Tearney makes a bold move. The Slow Horses assist the Tiger Team, unaware of their hidden agenda. Lamb and Ho take a road trip.
5. Cleaning Up: Taverner and Tearney face off for control of MI5. River and Louisa find themselves caught in the crossfire.
6. Footprints: Season finale. The Slow Horses fight for their lives. Lamb shares some devastating truths with Catherine.
